Job Description

We are a leading logistics provider based out of DFW Airport. An immediate opening for a Logistics Sales Representative. This position will identify sales leads and pitch services to new clients. You will be the key to building relationships, identifying business opportunities, negotiating, and closing business deals while maintaining knowledge of current market conditions.

You MUST have a logistics or sales background. This position's sole purpose is to generate sales for the company. You will also be providing administrative sales support to upper management.

Essential Functions

  • Helping to build a sales pipeline by generating and developing new business opportunities
  • Negotiate, build and maintain long-term partnerships with both new and existing clients
  • Bidding on freight movements and providing pricing
  • Generate leads by cold calling potential clients, understanding client needs and identifying sales opportunities
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all of our services, as well as those of our competitors
  • Close new business and meet monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets
  • Make timely and professional decisions while maintaining service standards and profitably
  • Communicate promptly and efficiently, providing clear, concise, and consistent status updates, with external clients as well as internal support teams Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or (equivalent experience)
  • 1 years of experience in a sales and cold-calling environment
  • Excellent communicator across all channels
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, and emails and must be able to maintain a professional work ethic at all times.

Compensation package include base salary ($45K-$55K), commission ($5K-$25K) and medical benefits, PTO, Vacation pay!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
