Job Description
The Business Development Manager plays a crucial role in driving new business growth within the assigned Recruitment Solutions portfolio. This position focuses on cultivating strong relationships with both new and existing clients, developing tailored strategies to boost sales, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Growth & Strategy Development: Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities by consulting with clients to offer tailored solutions and services. Create client-specific strategies that align with their needs, helping to achieve financial targets such as revenue and gross profit.
- Client Relationship Management: Establish and nurture long-term, strategic relationships with key clients. Regularly meet with clients to discuss their business needs, offering advice and solutions that support their objectives.
- Collaboration & Expertise: Work closely with internal teams (NAM, ITO, and MMS) to bring in subject matter experts as needed. Collaborate with the Delivery Manager to align recruiting strategies and focus areas.
- Contract & Negotiation: Oversee the negotiation and renewal of client contracts, extensions, and amendments, ensuring favorable terms for both parties.
- Industry Knowledge & Networking: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor strategies, and market activities to maintain a competitive edge. Participate in industry associations and networking events to build a professional network.
- Performance & Reporting: Regularly monitor and report on sales performance, forecasts, and other key metrics to stakeholders. Adjust strategies and tactics based on results and feedback.
- Leadership & Development: Provide guidance to less experienced team members and foster a collaborative environment. Attend team meetings to discuss priorities, share updates, and provide feedback.
- Client-Focused Sales: Spend the majority of time on client-facing activities, including meetings at client sites, to build relationships and drive sales.
- Other Responsibilities: Participate in special projects and other duties as needed to support the team's goals.
Job Requirements:
- Education & Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, along with at least 2 years of sales experience. A combination of education and relevant work experience totaling 6 years may be considered in lieu of a degree. Experience in staffing or HR solutions is highly preferred.
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 80% per week, with reliable transportation.
