Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Plant Manager, this position is responsible for the coordination of department efforts to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency in meeting daily production and quality goals.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage the day to day allocation of resources; people, materials, equipment, and systems to efficiently achieve performance goals
• Create and maintain a safe and positive work environment
• Mentor, motivate, and develop team members
• Understand and facilitate the internal and external regulations, procedures, and policies
• Regulate the production of high-quality products, housekeeping, and safety standards
• Ensure the development and implementation of action plans to address root causes of failures and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Utilize and model our beliefs in the execution of daily work activities and decision making
• Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions

Qualifications/ Requirements

• 5 years of plastic processing experience
• Must have at least 2 years of plastic injection molding processing experience
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the workforce
• Time management, delegation, and organizational skills
• Team-building skills
• Problem Solving Skills

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Manufacturing: 3 years (Required)
• Plastics Injection Molding: 2 years (Required)
