Position requires managing existing accounts and the development of new business in the expedited logistics industry. As a new account executive at Superior Delivery Service/J.H. Walker Trucking, you will be provided with on the job training from an industry leading sales team in a fun, dynamic, and fast paced environment. You will be involved in developing and executing tailored solutions to increase efficient, add value, and maximize profitability within this 40+ year old company.
We are looking to grow our hotshot business which entails moving objects from as small as a piece of paper to as large as an 80,000 lb valve in and around the DFW area and the state of Texas. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and able to make outside calls. This is an industry with a near unlimited potential of customers and growth, and we are looking for someone who wants to join our team/family business where you are not just a number
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
1 Build Relationships with a wide range of customers throughout the city, both new and current customers.
2. Generate new business from prospecting and cold calling.
3. Develop and maintain on-going book of business.
4. Establish, build and manage client relationships.
5. Negotiate price and contract agreements
6. On-going follow through and account management.
7. Focus and commitment to a "Superior Customer Experience".
8. Meet stated annual quotas and objectives.
