Compensation:

Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate site environmental performance, conduct audits, and implement corrective actions.
- Act as corporate contact for regulatory and community environmental matters.
- Ensure compliance with environmental permits and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies and assist with information requests.
- Manage air quality reports, renewals, and stack testing activities.
- Oversee training and certification efforts, working closely with the Waste Fuels and Environmental Affairs managers.
- Obtain and maintain relevant licenses and certifications, including those related to wastewater and operator compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in the environmental field. (cement, mining, or related industries preferred)
- Proven experience working with regulatory agencies.
- Strong written, verbal communication, and listening skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, leadership, and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of environmental laws and regulations relevant to a cement manufacturing environment.
Preferred Skills and Certifications:
- Environmental Engineering.
- Experience liaising with regulatory agencies.
- Team leadership experience.
