JBusiness Development & Marketing Job Description

I. Key Job Tasks

1. Sales/Marketing Plan

Design and implement annual regional marketing plan
Translate objectives and strategies to facilitate business unit growth
Develop strategy based on knowledge of the market and clients

2. Business Development Activities

· Oversee regional Business Development

· Effectively set prospective client meetings and presentations

· Service existing client portfolio

· Plan and coordinate client entertainment events

· Responsible for regional marketing communications

· Work with marketing staff on updating marketing database

· Assist in the development of promotional materials including marketing collateral

II. Job Specifications

BS/BA (Marketing or related field preferred)
Minimum 3 years marketing experience at a professional services organization. Insurance services related experience preferred.
Experience with prospecting, networking, and new business development
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage projects from inception through execution
Responsive to internal and external stakeholders and is competent, dedicated, and efficient
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to prosper in a dynamic, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment
Entrepreneurial, self-starter with hands-on approach

Pay: $62,696.77 - $75,505.78 per year
