SUMMARY
The Sustainability Coordinator is an entry level position and serves as a technical resource for our energy consulting team by assisting in all aspects of benchmarking analyses, ESG consulting, energy and water audits/analyses, energy modeling, commissioning, retro-commissioning, and/or green certification projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist with all aspects of benchmarking analyses, ESG checklists, climate resiliency studies, energy and water audits, energy modeling, commissioning, retro commissioning, green building certifications and/or feasibility studies to support energy efficiency and sustainability projects
- Input and analyze utility bill information for energy analyses, benchmarking studies, and ESG reporting
- Assist with collecting utility data, site and/or building information through site visits or remote communication
- Assist with researching and documenting technical requirements for a variety of sustainability and energy efficiency projects
- Assist with collecting data from clients and subcontractors, scheduling site visits, and responding to day-to-day client communications re: project updates and coordination
- Assist with report writing, editing, and formatting
- Track project deadlines, proposal submissions, and report delivery dates in database
- Maintain target utilization rate; and adhere to all company policies and procedures and company mission, vision, and values.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to read, write, speak & comprehend English
- Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone
- Must have visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screen
- Must have ability to travel both in and out of state and adjust work schedule as needed to meet deadlines
- Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Must have excellent organizational and analytical skills
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Science, or related field or, 1+ years of experience performing benchmarking studies and/or energy audits on a variety of asset types
Physical Requirements
- Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screen
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk working on a computer
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs
- Ability to work outdoors and in unconditioned rooms on occasion
- Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time both in and out of state
- Ability to regularly bend, reach, stand, walk, sit, push and pull regularly throughout the work shift.
Compensation:
Salary range is $50,000 to $60,000/yr. This is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role.
The pay scale for this role considers a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note, the disclosed pay scale estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location where the position may be filled.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive bonus program which is dependent on various factors, including, but not limited to individual and organizational performance.
