Overview:
Let’s create tomorrow together.
Under guidance from engineers, runs tests and diagnostics on preliminary/prototype software programs. Tests prototypes using standard lab equipment/processes. Maintains records of code tests and changes, and documents test results. Supports engineer with documentation validation.
Must report to office 5 days a week in Montreal Office.
Responsibilities:
Follows established processes to test products, software, and applications.- Works from written and verbal descriptions, or defined plans to perform testing,
- Performs audits and tests of software products in accordance with test plans and
products.
- Records results of tests and maintains lab documentation as required.
- Assists product development engineers in the diagnosis and replication of
- Reviews and validates engineering documentation.
- Assists software engineer with software release process.
- Assignments are routine in nature and require limited judgment.
- Has little or no role in decision making.
- Normally provided with detailed instructions for all work.
- Works under close supervision.
Qualifications:
Required:
o 1+ years of related experience
o Must speak French and English
Preferred:
o Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent vocational qualification/ experience
and less than 1 year of experience
o Associates Degree preferred in Computer Science or other relevant concentration
o May be considered an apprentice or a trainee
o Ability to use MS-Word, MS-Excel and other office applications
o Equivalent vocational qualification/ experience
