What are we looking for?

As an MSSP Sales Representative, you will be tasked with building out a direct sales channel as well as various partner led solution channels including managed security services. Work closely with the marketing and product teams to design and implement successful Lead Generation and Go-to-Market campaigns, and drive overall sales excellence in a competitive market.

What will you do?

As a New Business Sales Representative for Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs), you will be responsible for outbound business development activities aimed at delivering new partnerships to SentinelOne.

  • Responsible for acquiring new Tier 1 MSSP Partner logos, specializing in vertical and horizontal markets.
  • A successful sales representative for new business in MSSP will create a list of target partners, engage with prospects, present the value proposition of SentinelOne, collaborate with the systems engineering team for proof of concepts, and onboard new partners while meeting MSSP contractual requirements and pricing standards.
  • MSSP's New Business Manager is responsible for generating initial subscription revenue and partner enablement, leading to the partners' transition to an MSSP Business Manager.
  • Collaborates closely with the Global Channel Programs & Strategy team, marketing, and product teams to develop and execute successful Lead Generation and Go-to-Market campaigns, ensuring overall sales excellence in a competitive market.
  • Candidates should have previous experience selling Endpoint security products, including malware/exploit prevention, anti-virus, whitelisting, and advanced data loss protection products, through Managed Security Service Providers.

What skills and knowledge will you bring?

  • BS technical degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of above-quota sales experience, preferably as a Regional Sales Executive/Manager selling endpoint security solutions
  • Deep knowledge of current security solutions
  • Experience working with Managed Security Service Providers
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, both internally and externally. Ability to engage with a variety of technical and business leaders.
  • Enterprise sales experience with an actionable Rolodex of decision-makers
  • Superb organizational and reporting skills
  • Experience in rapidly evolving, competitive markets, growing sales enablement function to support sales.
  • "Whatever it takes" attitude and motivation to deliver above-quota performance
  • Prior startup experience
  • Experience working with channel partners and a strong understanding of channel-centric GTM approaches
  • Smart, funny, technical, and passionate about security!
