Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software products through rigorous testing and analysis. This role requires a strong understanding of various operating systems, mobile applications, and web technologies, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with development teams to enhance product quality.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications.
  • Analyze application functionality and performance through manual and automated testing.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify, document, and resolve defects.
  • Conduct UI testing to ensure a seamless user experience across different platforms.
  • Utilize tools such as Visual Studio for debugging and testing purposes.
  • Test RESTful APIs and JDBC connections to validate data integrity and communication.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on quality-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software quality assurance.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of test results, defects, and corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role in software testing.
  • Proficiency in testing methodologies for web applications using HTML and .NET technologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS for deployment and testing environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
  • Experience with mobile application testing is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of various operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.) is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,022.61-$117,179.26 per year
