Our client is a leading force in drive technology globally, providing a diverse array of mechanical and electronic solutions that drive industries worldwide. As the organization in Canada is experiencing growth, they are seeking a driven Technical Sales Representative in Alberta to play a pivotal role in leading this expansion.
Reporting to the National Sales Director, you will focus on cultivating new relationships while supporting existing partners within the designated geographic area. You'll have the backing of their top-tier Customer Service and Application Engineering teams to excel in this dynamic career.
Role Responsibilities:
- Drive market dominance among OEMs, End Users, and Distribution channels in Alberta's territory.
- Expand market share by fostering new business relationships and nurturing existing customer accounts.
- Provide technical support, applications assistance, and service to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate effectively within the group to achieve sales targets and promote brand loyalty.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, End Users, and Distribution partners.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase presence in the territory.
- Provide technical expertise and support to customers regarding mechanical and electrical power transmission solutions.
- Utilize MS Office products and CRM systems to manage sales activities and customer relationships.
Role Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in a technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Industrial Sales or Business-to-Business Sales.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical power transmission systems with a robust technical aptitude.
- Proficiency in MS Office products, including CRM software.
- Highly motivated, organized, and self-driven individual.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Willingness to travel within the territory and occasionally nationally/internationally for meetings and training.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills, motivation, and self-discipline in achieving sales objectives.
