Summary:

Responsible for increasing revenues and profits in defined territory while delivering the Ultimate Customer Experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage customers and prospects in a physical geographic territory.
Priority is to service and retain current customers, grow existing relationships and prospect for new customers.
Build relationships and entertain customers and prospects.
Network in the community to discover prospective customers.
Conduct quarterly reviews with key customers.
Develop packaging solutions to solve customer issues and to provide customer cost savings.
Deliver quotes and samples.
Establish and maintain sales pipeline and comply with sales reporting.
Address all customer complaints in person within 24 hours of complaint.
Responsible for all new item and customer information.
Additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements/Qualifications:

3-5 years of business experience within the manufacturing sector.
Strong communication skills.
High sense of urgency.
Exceptional follow-up skills.
Results oriented.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials during the workday. Proper lifting techniques required. May include lifting to 25 pounds for files, computer printouts on occasion.

Work Environment:

The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas where under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as Safety Glasses with Side Shields and mandatory hearing protection, and steel toed shoes. Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
  • Traveling around the greater Cleveland area daily is a requirement, ability to be home every night (very limited overnight stay outside of training & national sales meetings).
