Imasco Minerals – a private Surrey, BC-based mineral company with a long history in manufacturing & distributing of construction products in Western Canada and the USA, is currently seeking a talented, self-motivated, educated building materials specialist for the position of sales representative – industrial & construction product & materials with opportunities to move up to sales & marketing & when qualified, to the position of product manager of construction product & materials division.

The main responsibilities of this job include but not limited to:
· Develop an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the Imasco product line and its competing systems.
· Aid + contribute to the development & expansion of the product line
· Prospecting by following up leads, making calls, including cold calls, to potential customers and through emails and other medias.
· Presenting and demonstrating the Imasco products to prospects – both in person and via online tools, such as Zoom.
· Providing quotations, closing sales/obtaining orders for the products. Assisting with order processing when needed.
· Job site assistance – troubleshooting as required
Job Duties:
· Operate / direct the Sales & Marketing Centre
· Maintain and grow sales relationships with existing clients
· Identify and solicit potential clients
· Access clients’ needs in services and prices
· Provide input into product design
· Develop sales presentations, proposals to illustrate benefits from use of goods or service
· Possess an eye towards new product development
Requirements
Education & Knowledge:
· Previous experience in Engineering and/or production and/or marketing of construction materials
· University degree in either Engineering, Chemistry, Science or Commerce is helpful
· Minimum 2-5 years of sales or marketing experience
· Background in construction materials or chemical products required
· Prior experience in similar sales will be very helpful

· Ability to effectively sell & deal with challenges
· Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure to meet sales goals
· Flexible, highly motivated, efficient, and well organized
· Financial Mathematics: Able to functionally demonstrate the ability to work with pricing, markups, margins, and other pricing functions
· Manage expenses responsibly, keeping accurate records and reporting these promptly in accordance with company policy.
Salary/income
· Base salary will commensurate with growth + performance
· 2% commission on sales

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $80,000.00 per year
