We are excited to be on the lookout for an experienced Builder Sales Representative for one of our premier clients in the Carolinas market. Our client, a leading natural and engineered stone fabricator, is expanding into the thriving Charleston, SC area. They’re eager to bring aboard top-tier sales talent with substantial growth potential, both in the short and long term.

This role is perfect for an entrepreneurial-minded sales professional with a proven track record of selling construction products (stone, flooring, carpet, tile, cabinetry) to local builders, particularly within the residential and new construction sectors. Our client values transparency and integrity across all aspects of their business, so we’re seeking a sales rep who shares these core values and has a current book of business in the impressive $3MM–$5MM+ range.

Please note: If you don’t have an established book of business selling building products to builders, this opportunity may not be the right fit at this time.

Key Responsibilities:

If you’re familiar with this industry, you already understand the role. However, here’s a snapshot of typical responsibilities:

  • Drive in-person business development, account management, and client growth, focusing on local home builders.
  • Identify and reach out to home builders in your territory to cultivate new business relationships.
  • Handle routine administrative tasks that come with the role.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of builder sales experience in the residential construction industry (5-10 years preferred).
  • Must have experience selling to residential/custom home builders.
  • A solid book of business valued at $3MM–$5MM in sales of countertops, flooring, tile, or similar building products.
  • Willingness to travel within the Greater Charleston area to meet with new and existing clients.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive total compensation: $90,000 – $130,000+ (and if you're the right fit, we encourage you to name your price!).
  • Comprehensive health coverage (85% covered), plus dental and vision options.
