For California-based employment: The minimum salary for this position is $74,000/year. The maximum salary for this position $94,000/year. In addition to base salary, the compensation package also includes eligibility for an annual bonus, as well as equity and a range of medical, dental, vision and other benefits.
Quality Assurance Engineer, works closely with our suppliers to ensure our product quality standards of new and recertified products are enforced and monitored regularly. Effectively, report, monitor and communicate potential risks to our Product team and suppliers. Work independently to formulate possible solutions to complex quality related issues/topic. Execute essential quality related tasks such as IQC and OOBE. This lead role will identify issues, coordinate corrective actions with the suppliers and monitor its implementation for effectiveness. Work internally with other departments on various quality related issues and field complaints for resolutions.
What You Will Do:
- Manage/execute new incoming assets inspection (IQC) to ensure products are in accordance to established standards.
- Manage/execute New Product Introduction Inspection (OOBE) with cross functional teams. Document inspection results and drive ODM for improvement.
- Interpret, formulate, assess, and execute critical product quality related issues both externally with partners and internally among key stakeholders.
- Lead weekly quality meetings and review quality and service reports from vendors. Identify potential quality issues and plan for resolutions.
- Manage our Supplier organizations to improve product/process quality.
- Occasional travel to audit manufacturing facilities (domestic/international).
- Support resource for special projects.
- A minimum education level of: 4 year college degree (Bachelor of Science preferred
- Years of related work experience: 3+ years of Quality Control/Quality Assurance in consumer electronics
- Self-motivated & enthusiasm, organize, multi-task and great adaptability
- Ability to work independently to formulate responses to enforce overall product quality
- Mandarin Chinese is a plus
