Noetic Marketer, a leading digital marketing agency based in Toronto, is looking for a consultative Business Development Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll focus on understanding business challenges and providing solutions through Noetic’s digital marketing services. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a relationship-driven, value-based sales approach while developing partnerships and leveraging inbound leads.

Responsibilities:

1. Consultative Sales and Lead Generation:

  • Engage prospects with a consultative sales approach—listen actively to understand their challenges and present thoughtful solutions.
  • Generate new leads through partnerships, networking, and events.
  • Manage inbound leads from our website, SEO efforts, referrals, and other marketing channels.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to develop new connections and generate new business opportunities.

2. Strategic Partnerships:

  • Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships to expand Noetic’s reach and market presence.
  • Collaborate with partners to identify mutual business opportunities and cross-promotion strategies.

3. Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Manage the full sales cycle—from initial outreach to closing deals.
  • Focus on providing solutions aligned with the prospect’s needs, avoiding aggressive or salesy tactics.
  • Work with the internal team to ensure a smooth handoff after closing deals for onboarding and service delivery.

4. Market Awareness and Product Knowledge:

  • Stay current on digital marketing trends, such as SEO, Google Ads, CRM strategies, Meta Ads, and social media, to have meaningful conversations with prospects.
  • Understand how Noetic’s services can fit into clients' marketing strategies and solve their specific challenges.

5. Reporting and Performance Tracking:

  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities and progress through CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and partnership activities.

Requirements:

1. Sales and Partnership Experience:

  • Proven experience in a consultative sales role, preferably in a digital marketing or related environment.
  • Experience building partnerships and developing new business opportunities through networking and events.
  • Track record of achieving sales targets without relying on aggressive selling techniques.

2. Communication and Presentation Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present solutions persuasively.
  • Skilled in asking insightful questions to uncover prospects' challenges and align them with Noetic’s services.

3. Organizational and Time Management Skills:

  • Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities to manage multiple leads and partnerships simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and follow up effectively with prospects and partners.

4. Digital Marketing Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies such as SEO, Google Ads, and CRM tools.
  • Experience with virtual meeting platforms like Google Meet.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
