About This Position
The Bridge Recovery Center Manager is responsible for performing all duties associated with overseeing the SAMHSA funded program. The Recovery Center Manager ensures that the required services are being delivered within compliance, and ethical standards. The Recovery Center manager ensures The Recovery Support Peer Specialists are trained and provide Peer Support Services based on the members recovery plan. The Recovery Center manager is responsible for ensuring all GPRA assessments are completed and entered into the SPARS system in a timely manner. The Manger is responsible meeting all targets including members served through the SAMHSA grant-funded program. Along with the Project Director, the Recovery Center Manager will ensure that effective partnerships are built with the designated collaborating organizations and the community.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for direct supervision of the Peer Recovery Support Specialists of the Bridge Recovery Center.
  • Member of the Family Reentry leadership team collaborates with other Program Directors to ensure marketing of the Recovery Center and cross collaboration of programs to provide recovery support services to all Family Reentry existing clients as well as other new clients.
  • Along with the Project Director coordinates support services with external providers to maximize service access to members of the Recovery Center.
  • Ensure all data collection is thorough, timely and meets grant targets.
  • Maintain an active caseload of members and provides peer support recovery groups at the Recovery Center
  • Responsible for maintaining a robust daily calendar of Recovery Support Groups and a variety of Recovery Friendly events hosted at the Recovery Center
  • Provide ongoing training for Recovery Center staff
  • Along with Project Director develop sustainability plan and implementation of plan when grant funds end.
Job Qualifications:
  • Lived experience in recovery 5 years required.
  • Peer Support Certification required within first 6 months.
  • BA preferred.
  • Experience in grant management preferred.
  • 5 years’ experience in peer support required.
  • Ability to engage and motivate staff in working towards mission of the agency; ability to translate the vision and goals in action; change management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage financial systems for budgeting.
  • Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team to coordinate program activities and establish a presence in the community.
About Us
Community Strategies (CS) supports adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities through specialized services that include Day Programs, Shared Living arrangements with providers, as well as over forty community-based group homes. Social Justice Services (SJS), supports those leaving incarceration to make positive, sustainable life transitions through residential and non-residential programs. Behavioral Health (BH) has worked to break cycles of violence, crime, and incarceration by providing client-centered interventions and support services to empower and strengthen individuals, families, and communities. BH provides domestic violence treatment and education, community reentry services, mentoring programs, and intensive outpatient programs. The Crime and Justice Institute (CJI) is a non-profit organization working at the local, state, and national level to improve public safety and the delivery of justice. CJI provides technical assistance, research, and other services to improve outcomes in policing, the corrections system, pre-trial, re-entry, community supervision, and juvenile justice.
