The Role
SensorUp is seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer (SRE, DevOps) to join our team in streamlining software delivery, platform management, and operational performance. You will collaborate on automating processes, enabling high-frequency releases with lower risk, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure for maximum efficiency, reliability, and security. Your passion for cutting-edge DevOps, DevEx, and SRE practices will be instrumental in driving improvements across the entire software lifecycle, from development to production.
Your Influence
- Collaborate with the team to oversee cloud operations primarily in AWS, maintaining optimal health by managing the lifecycle of cloud services, optimizing capacity and costs, handling images and patches, and ensuring high availability and service continuity.
- Drive the modernization of cloud engineering and operations practices, with a primary focus on AWS cloud architecture.
- Architect and maintain Terraform-based IaC with mature CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions to ensure secure, compliant, and scalable infrastructure.
- Design and build robust monitoring and logging infrastructure to provide comprehensive insights, metrics, and alerts on platform health and performance.
- Proactively identify and mitigate security risks, implement security best practices, and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards.
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration systems to support the platform's infrastructure.
Your Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure engineering roles, showcasing a strong technical foundation.
- Extensive experience with AWS (or equivalent cloud platforms), demonstrating expertise in core services, cost optimization, security, and performance tuning.
- Demonstrated proficiency in designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, along with a deep understanding of version control principles and experience collaborating effectively using Git and GitHub.
- Proven experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization technologies in production environments.
