Sr On-Site Services Specialist Location: Los Angeles, CA

Summary: This is a temp-to-hire role for a self-motivated individual with good communication skills and a customer-centric approach. The role involves supporting mail, print/copy, hospitality, and reception services in a law firm environment. No extensive walking, standing, or lifting involved. No driving is required. The worksite address is 1900 Avenue of the Stars, Suite 2700 Los Angeles CA and parking is validated.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate high volume duplicating equipment, handle incoming/outgoing mail/faxes, apply necessary postage.
  • Perform maintenance and repair on customer site equipment.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential documents.
  • Distribute office supplies, handle fax transmissions, and mail as required.
  • Calculate charges for jobs performed and maintain some billing logs.
  • Respond to and coordinate all service calls required by customer.
  • Deliver completed jobs to pre-determined customer locations within and outside of the site.
  • Answer customer questions regarding status or feasibility of job requests.
  • Perform duties related to shipping and receiving of materials.
  • Perform meeting room and conference room set ups.
  • Perform re-lamping and light maintenance duties as assigned.
  • Use shrink-wrap machine, paper cutter, hole driller, bindery equipment, jogger, tape machine, stackers, electric stapler, and scales in completion of various jobs contracted.
  • Use all copier equipment, calculator, fax machine, postage meter, and some PC.
  • Perform filing duties, which may include ‘purging’ and archiving old documents.
  • Perform duties of scanning, file conversion, and file naming.
  • Perform FTP (File Transfer Protocol) between computers and files for printing and CS/DVD.
  • Manage TOC (Table of Contents) – first page of electronic file.
  • Perform duties that involve OCR (Optical Character Recognition) files to assist with key word search.
  • Perform file formatting for printing/Excel files.
  • Responsible for interacting and providing professional level support to executive level end users at various levels, including: legal secretaries, project managers, paralegals, associates, and partners.
  • Perform quality accurate jobs/projects that may require tight deadlines and potentially under high pressure.
  • Assist with coordinating projects that will be completed off site (BIS or Smart Source).

Required Skills: Mailroom, Ordering Work Authorization: US Citizen, Green Card

The role adheres to Ricoh’s standard vaccine policy.

The dress code is professional - no sneakers, t-shirts, or casual/torn jeans.

The shift timing is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Mon to Fri).

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
