Argus IT Services has a strong history of exceptional service to Small and Medium Business (SMB) Clients as a full-service Managed Service Provider (MSP) and to Enterprise Clients in IT Infrastructure (Hardware, Installation, Projects, and Services).

POSITION SUMMARY:
Our Technical Sales Representative will have experience selling business to business technology solutions in IT Services or Projects, Computer Hardware or Software, Websites or Application Development, Office Equipment such as printers and scanners, Staffing, or other technical business to business sales.
The focus of this position is generating new business from new customers. The new accounts will come from existing relationships the candidate may have, semi warm calls from leads provided by Argus (we have an outsider firm whose role is to create semi warm leads), and cold calling. Some existing accounts will be included in your role with Argus.
Compensation is a base salary plus commissions on sales within your accounts.
After an initial period based on accomplishing specific goals, the position can transition to a work from home position. Prior to accomplishing these goals, the position will be based out of a corporate office location near the DFW airport.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The primary focus is to sell SMB Clients on our MSP solutions. As an MSP, Argus is the outsourced IT department for our small and medium business Clients – usually 10 to 300 employees. Argus provides full IT Service and Support for these Clients – all services for the user, network, and cloud environment. This includes mobile, desktop and network devices; technical and business processes for service tickets; retired asset management; and fractional CIO Support and Strategic IT consulting.
- The secondary focus is to sell Corporate Clients on Argus’ Full Lifecycle IT Infrastructure solutions. Argus provides services throughout the Lifecycle of mobile, desktop, and network. For new equipment we specify, purchase, inventory/store, image/configure, deliver or ship, and install. For retired/end of life equipment we pick up, receive/report, complete data destruction by wiping or shredding, refurbish, and recycle. For equipment in use, we provide services and support by providing project management, project resources, moves and relocations, hardware and software upgrades, help desk and ticket support, repair, and other services and projects.
- Create sales from leads created from your efforts.
- Follow up on leads provided by Argus. Argus has an active lead generation process that indicates Clients have interest in Argus’ products and services.
- You will utilize Argus’ CRM (Zoho) for organizing your communication, notes, and follow up actions.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience selling business to business technology solutions in IT Services or Projects, Computer Hardware or Software, Websites or Application Development, Office Equipment such as printers and scanners, Staffing, or other technical business to business sales.
- Strong follow up skills and abilities to execute action items and drive opportunities to close.
- Strong customer skills with abilities to create a great connection with Argus’ Client. Argus focuses on providing our clients an excellent experience throughout the sales and delivery process.
- Strong communication skills internally to convey the customers' needs and requirements.
- College Degree preferred, but years of proven work experience can be substituted for college
- Strong CRM skills to fully utilize and update our Zoho CRM.
- Ability to travel locally (DFW Area) for Client meetings.
