Job Summary
The Regional Account Manager will be responsible for managing frontline communication with customers and prospective customers within an assigned region. This role involves handling inbound leads and calls, working to qualify and convert them into rental customers. The Regional Account Manager will collaborate with the Director of Inside Sales to manage all regional accounts. This position is on-site.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and carryout travel to visit in-person customers and prospective customers in your regional territory.
- Answer incoming web forms and inbound calls with urgency
- Convert leads and prospects to new accounts with a 6% close ration
- Grow existing active accounts to maturity by following up with each account monthly
- With tenacious follow up, consistently win back inactive accounts
- Willing to become a Salesforce expert, documenting all calls, emails and tasks
- Willing to become a competent lead generator by cold calling a minimum of 8 hours each week
- Is dependable with other departments in clearly communicating internally and externally
- The Inside Sales Representative will report to the Director of Inside Sales and will be responsible for all inside sales leads
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Skills
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner when dealing with employees, vendors, customers and company contacts
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to perform the above duties with little supervision
- Capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment along with organization under expected timelines
- Team-player who works well with all internal departments
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
- A minimum of 1 year Customer service experience
- A minimum of 1 year of outside Sales experience
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Salesforce CRM Experience a plus
