WE RE LOOKING FOR A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER


This position is vital to the success of Neopharm’s anticipated growth. You will build an active pipeline of opportunities for continuous business generation and will report to the Business Development Director.

You will build an active pipeline of opportunities for continuous business generation. You will plan and implement short and long-term sales/service development programs targeted at existing and new markets.

Neopharm is located in Milford, MA. Our workplace includes on-site, remote, and hybrid roles. For this position, work location will take into consideration your experience in sales and in the drug development/pharmaceutical testing industries.


NB: the person must reside in the Boston area .

WHAT YOU WILL DO...

  • Responsible for research, identification, and qualification of new potential customers; negotiation, and closing of deals for our analytical (GMP & non GMP), R&D and Life Science divisions
  • Meet specific sales, customer retention, and other objectives to maintain the Company’s leading market position
  • Develop, sell, and implement strategies that create true partnerships between the Company and its customers. Develop retention strategies for long term partnerships and be the person who is accountable for the ongoing health of such relationships.
  • Contribute to the development and introduction of new services by the Company.
  • Participate in market research, forecasting and establishing sales projections.
  • Represent the Company at trade shows, conferences, and other events.
  • riodic meetings with Managers of other departments to review strategies, establish sales forecasts to achieve results, etc


WHO ARE YOU? A PERSON WITH...

Academic and professional requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in administration or science (biochemistry, chemistry, biology, microbiology) or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 to 5 years' experience in sales, market development or laboratory operations, life sciences, pharmaceutical or manufacturing field;
  • Experience with a CRM (an asset)...


Quality and personal skills:

  • Eager, highly motivated, self-starter
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written. Excellent presentation, persuasion, and negotiating skills. Adept listening skill to be able to identify needs of the customer. Interactions will be done via telephone, email, and face-to-face.
  • Proven ability to function independently and to be highly organized.
  • Experience with: -CRM tools such as salesforce; Microsoft office word,Excel,powerpoint,outlook
  • If a home office is used, it must be well-equipped and fully connected with backup resources in the event of loss of cell phone, computer, or internet service.
  • Travel required – 35%
