The Opportunity

Leavitt Machinery is looking for a customer-oriented Parts Sales Representative to join our team in Belle River, Ontario. As the Parts Sales Representative you will be the first point of contact for our Service Technicians and retail customers who require parts and accessories.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As the Parts Sales Representative your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assist Service Technicians and customers requiring parts and accessories
  • Issue and receive purchase orders
  • Administer warranty and claims with the aid of the warranty department
  • Manage inventory, quality control and track incoming and outgoing parts
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Attend to general store keeping and warehouse duties
  • Receive shipments from carriers
  • Generate receiving reports for incoming stock orders
  • Stock goods received ensuring goods are places in correct bin locations
  • File vendor packing slips and carrier waybills
  • Receive interbranch stock transfers
  • Remove printed orders in a timely manner, reviewing shipping requirements and determine urgency of order
  • Notify sales staff of any inventory discrepancies
  • Answer branch inquiries on orders
  • Warehousing duties and office administrative duties as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

  • Post-secondary education preferred
  • At least one year of related experience
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Must be extremely organized and be detail-oriented
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to lift up to 51 lbs. is required

The base pay range for this role is: $55,000 to $70,000 per year
