As our Technology Sales Representative, you are responsible for prospecting and developing new business opportunities, as well as providing alternative technology solutions to our existing customers. The incumbent will work closely with the Technology Specialist on developing a customer base as it relates to Heavy Equipment Machine Control, Survey Equipment, Accident-Avoidance Systems and Asset Tracking Devices.

The successful applicant's territory will be the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island. They should reside in this territory, ideally near one of our branch locations in Surrey, Nanaimo or Campbell River.

You will understand market opportunities and capitalize by conveying GWE product line advantages to current and potential customers

We will be the customer's first choice because of your demonstrated professionalism, honesty, and drive. You will need to travel as required in your territory (Lower Mainland/Vancouver Island); a valid drivers' license, reliable and presentable vehicle, and an acceptable drivers' abstract will be required.
- Creativity. You collaborate and drive the development of a sales plan, marketing and promotion strategy for your territory.
- Organization. You have already developed systems to organize your thoughts and daily work activities. You manage your territory and resources with deliberate planning and prioritization to maximize your impact. You contribute to the company's success by building quotes and completing documents and processes in a timely fashion.
- Critical Thinking. You are curious and you collect and examine information about machines and products so that you can become an effective consultant to your customers, thinking outside the box to provide creative, service-first solutions.
- Communicator. Concise communication with your customers and other company representatives is critical and you are abreast of what is happening in your market. You communicate potential and ongoing business opportunities to other appropriate company stakeholders.
- Computer Literate. You're going to need strong computer skills to be proficient with our software, and you'll need to be very comfortable with Microsoft products so that you can maintain and create meaningful, informative, and timely business reports.
