**Job Overview:**
European Wine Imports, a boutique statewide wine wholesaler seeks a professional-minded salesperson for established and new sales territories in the Cleveland and surrounding areas. Successful candidates MUST HAVE wholesale experience, or commensurate experience in the hospitality industry, exemplary interpersonal skills and strong work ethic.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
The pay structure is comprised of salary plus commission.
**Duties:**
- Schedule and conduct sales calls with all buyers, which includes proposing new product, displays, promotions, and ads into accounts with the aid of thoroughly prepared sales presentations
- Manage contracts to retain and add product in sets, set TPR tags and pricing competitively, and confirm all products are added to ensure acceptance of delivery
- Achieve monthly sales goals
- Work closely with sales team to manage relationships with key accounts, communicate new product approved at the corporate level, and provide pre-order and new item forms
- Assist in customer product and sales training
- Provide exceptional customer service, including follow up with corporate buyers to ensure they are satisfied with our service/products and to answer any questions or concerns
- Work with suppliers in the market and assist them in arranging special events
- Attend sales meetings, conferences and trade shows, as required
- Stay up-to-date on new products and the changing needs of customers
- Prepare and utilize reports for buyers and the sales team

Qualifications
- Minimum age 21
- High School Diploma/GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred
- Three or more years' beverage/corporate chain sales experience required
- Basic competency with basic iOS or Android devices
- Pass a pre-employment background check
- Pass a drug test at any time during employment
- Follow all Ohio rules and regulations, as they apply to the position
- Maintain a safe driving record and have a valid driver's license with no restrictions.
- Desire to stay up-to-date on industry trends and product knowledge
- Display confidence, reliability, persistence, composure and professionalism
- Ability to problem solve quickly and efficiently
- Ability to attain a Ohio Liquor Control Commission license
- Must be able to lift 45 pounds
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
