Job Description

COSCO SHIPPING LINES (North America) Inc., a leader in container shipping, air freight, project cargo, and contract logistics, thrives in the dynamic and fast-changing shipping industry. We are currently seeking an Account Executive to join our Global Sales Division in the Los Angeles area. This role also includes managing key accounts in the West Central Region.

Responsibilities:
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with existing and prospective export accounts in the Long Beach and Los Angeles areas.
  • Document meeting outcomes in the company’s designated reporting platform and collaborate closely with the Trade Department to share market insights promptly, aiming to retain and expand COSCO's market share in the region.
  • Prepare reports on activities, lift volumes, revenue, and other metrics as required by senior management.
  • Actively pursue new accounts while maintaining strong relationships with existing contracted accounts.
  • Manage and update existing service contracts, including rates, port pairs, and surcharges.
  • Promote and implement General Rate Increases (GRIs) as directed by senior management.
  • Represent COSCO as a leading carrier within the territory, upholding the company’s reputation and market presence.

This is a virtual position out of LA area.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
