OFFICE ASSISTANT/ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE

Well-established small business in San Leandro seeks a full time, personable, multi-tasking customer service representative to join our team. We are a wholesale clothing distributor with a casual, congenial working environment. This position includes customer service (primarily phone), data entry, accounts receivable, problem solving, and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

Applicant requirements:

Must be computer proficient – (Word, Excel, Outlook), and be able to learn our database software.

Be able to enter data accurately and efficiently (40+ words per minute)

Comfortable with manipulating data and text in Excel spreadsheets a big plus

Be friendly and helpful to customers

Able to learn a large volume of product information

Work independently and with a team

Be able to organize multiple tasks and competing priorities

Handle busy phone lines

Pay attention to details and meet deadlines despite interruptions

Pass a drug screening

Covid Precautions: We take health and safety very seriously. All employees are required to wear face coverings while at work. We have sanitization stations throughout and have made several modifications, such as not allowing any customers to enter the building. We expect that you will take similar precautions while you are not working, in order to limit your co-workers’ exposure to Covid.

Salary and benefits:

This position is full-time. Starting salary depends on qualifications. Benefits provided include paid vacation, holidays, health insurance contribution, and retirement plan contribution.
