Founded in 1947, Gillespie Munro is a full-service, Canadian international freight forwarding firm specializing in innovative solutions to our clients, and agents' transportation needs. The company's international operations are divided into four principal areas of activity: international freight forwarding agency, marine chartering, international projects, and air freight.

This is an in-office position. Monday – Friday 8:00am-5pm

You will:

• Develop and manage your own book of business through B2B cold calling.
• Identify, qualify and build new business relationships with prospective customers.
• Classify, contact, and qualify potential customers while building new business relationships with those prospective customers. Implement and maintain a sales pipeline for those prospective customers.
• Maintain exceptional customer service, professionalism, and integrity with existing clients and making connections with industry specialists.
• Attend industry functions to represent Gillespie Munro Inc.
• Complete weekly and monthly sales reports.

You Have:

• Confidence in yourself, strong sales tactics, ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Consistently building new business while maintaining those strong customer relationships.
• Strong verbal, written communication skills, as well as interpersonal customer relation skills – preferred Bilingual for the Montreal office
• Have adaptability when dealing with challenging circumstances, demands, and last-minute deadlines.
