Equitable is looking for someone that can support business analysis efforts - including requirements gathering, documentation, testing and implementation planning for projects related to Group Retirement (GR) SalesForce CRM and other GR Sales & Relationship team technology needs. Overall, this role will need a basic understanding of the wholesaling distribution model for Group Retirement Plans – enough to be able to translate sales team related business requests into detailed business requirements for SalesForce builds/enhancements/issue resolution.


This position will be part of the GR Sales Operations Team supporting Group Retirement business lines – 401(k), 403(b) and 457. The role is tasked with coordinating and validating changes, enhancements and core functionality with enterprise partners across Sales & Distribution, Marketing, Product, Service, Compliance and Technology teams. Additionally, this position will support Problem Resolution and general maintenance for Sales Force and other technical capabilities needed to conduct business, including supporting technical requirements and testing as needed. This opportunity will allow the person to explore new opportunities as it relates to our current processes and tools.

Key Job Responsibilities


The responsibilities of the applicant could vary and can expand depending on the qualifications of the person in this role:


1. Day to day functional and problem resolution support of SalesForce platform including Sales Data, Opportunity/Prospect Tracking & Reporting capabilities, Territory Management and Sales Force Reporting functions

2. Day to day functional and problem resolution support of the Group Retirement Performance center platform

a. Responsibilities include and are not limited to Portfolio Builder and Analyzer Report, data & collateral coordination with Product development

b. QC and maintenance of overall fund list database, ensuring funds available on Performance Center are current with funds offered in GR mutual fund based product; manage approx. 6 to 8 specific fund lists of approx. 30 funds each – to ensure current with Fiduciary service offerings (Wilshire, SWBC)

3. Write business requirements for IT teams to use for new builds or enhancements, work in Agile environment with dedicated DP/IT partners to implement and perform final UAT checkout when work effort completed. A general understanding of Group retirement plans (401k, 403b, 457) is needed, in order to translate & communicate the business sales & relationship teams needs into DP/IT technical requirements

4. Provide Sales Force data support coordinating data related initiatives with the Data Analytics Organization and other enterprise partners

5. Manage Wholesaler productivity toolset and their integrations with Sales Force including Performance Center, Quote Engine.


The base salary range for this position is $68,000 to $102,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Qualifications


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of work experience within Financial Services
  • Experience with SalesForce technology
  • Experience and familiarity working in an Agile Project Management methodology environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Variable Annuities and/or Retirement Plans, highly desired
  • FINRA Series 6 or 7 License, a big plus
  • SalesForce Management Experience
  • SalesForce technological trends and advances
  • Computer Knowledge: PC, Microsoft Office Suite & Outlook, Apple mobile devices/iOS
  • Exceptional capacity for quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Fundamental knowledge of systems design and methodology
  • Ability to understand the needs of the business, and find the best solutions to support

Cross-functional Collaboration: Knowledge of collaborative techniques and approaches; ability to promote a culture of continuous improvement and working together across functions to solve business problems and meet business goals.

Customer Segmentation: Knowledge of customer segmentation; ability to differentiate customers into meaningful groups and to establish interactions and service levels appropriate to each group.

Data Analysis Tools: Knowledge of key uses and benefits of data analysis tools; ability to utilize data analysis tools to identify factors influencing business performance and to gain greater insight into trends within a business, industry and customer base.

Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the organization's industry group, trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations, and trendsetters; ability to apply industry knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
