Summary
Provides customer sales support and service for NEBCO Concrete Materials. Assures customer satisfaction, revenue generation and long-term account goals that are in line with the company strategic plan. Abides by Company Safety Program and Policies, while performing duties safely. Consistent and reliable attendance required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Maximizes opportunities to provide consulting services and solutions for NEBCO Concrete Materials admixture products and other materials to assigned accounts and clients.

Matches solutions to the needs of clients while listening and dedicating time to understand the situation of the customer. Provide technical expertise.

Develops a comprehensive understanding of admixture products as well as understanding the strengths and weaknesses of competitor’s products.

Assures credit and accounts receivable efforts are maintained with new and designated clients.

Works collaboratively with company personnel and specialized clients to improve service performance and resolve support needs.

Provides comprehensive quotes to customers.

Assists in troubleshooting efforts of customer admixture dispensing equipment.

Works closely with admixture vendor to ensure customer inventory levels are adequately maintained.

Delivers specified quantities of admixtures to customers when necessary.

Represents NEBCO Concrete Materials with a high level of professionalism, ethics, integrity and product knowledge.

Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and
  • three years of relationship sales and product experience and/or training which will demonstrate strong technical, construction and design consulting sales skills, preferably in ready mixed concrete or construction related industry; or
  • an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • ACI certification preferred. If not ACI certified, will be required to become certified within a year from date of employment and maintain certification thereafter.

Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to develop a strong customer base and maintain ongoing business relationships
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics
  • Working knowledge of concrete products sold by the company.
  • Must be able to go to construction sites as needed.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

Candidate is required to meet the above qualifications, task frequency and PPE requirements. Approval of pre-employment reference & background checks, and post offer drug/alcohol testing with back screens (if required) are required as conditions of employment.
