The territory for this position covers Louisiana and Mississippi. Some overnight travel is required. All expenses to perform the job are paid for with a company credit card.

TMD is a family-owned wholesale distributor bringing distribution and logistical solutions to the healthcare industry in the southern region of the United States. Our warehouse locations in Texas, Oklahoma, and Arizona allow us to service an eleven state region in a one or two day ship time. TMD stocks a wide variety of healthcare products, so our customers satisfy a large portion of their purchasing needs with one call, one order, one invoice, and in most instances, free of freight charges.

Medical Sales Rep / Territory Manager - Job Description:


This position requires a sales representative with demonstrated experience in growing and closing sales, prospecting and developing new accounts, maintaining current accounts with a focus on building long term customer relationships, and increasing sales revenue. The territory for this position covers Louisiana and Mississippi. The Territory Sales Representative will be evaluated on the ability to meet sales quotas and revenue targets.

Responsibilities - Medical Sales Rep / Territory Manager:

  • Develop strategic growth plans
  • Manage accounts within a 6-week sales cycle
  • Conduct sales calls individually and with sales managers from manufacturing partners
  • Follow-up and follow-through on leads provided as well as self-generate new business opportunities
  • Attend trade shows, sales meetings, and webinars for regular updates on product knowledge and training

Requirements: Medical Sales Rep / Territory Manager:

  • 4-year Degree with 3 years of B2B sales experience and a proven track record of revenue growth OR some college and 5+ years of B2B sales with a proven track record of revenue growth
  • Must be self-motivated, well organized and able to self-manage
  • Must be computer literate
  • Strong communication skills via email, phone and in person required
  • You must be able to travel and stay overnight 7 to 10 times a month
