About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect with 10+ years of expertise in designing, implementing, and managing robust cloud solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining cloud infrastructure strategies, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-efficiency while aligning with the organization’s business goals.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, security experts, and project managers, to deliver cutting-edge cloud solutions that drive business value.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Strategy & Design:
Develop and implement comprehensive cloud architecture strategies using platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Define and document best practices and guidelines for cloud usage and infrastructure.
Infrastructure Development:
Design and oversee the deployment of scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructures.
Leverage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation for automation.
Collaboration & Leadership:
Work closely with engineering, security, and DevOps teams to integrate cloud solutions into the existing IT ecosystem.
Act as a technical advisor to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Performance & Optimization:
Monitor cloud systems to ensure high availability and performance.
Conduct regular cost analysis and recommend optimization strategies.
Security & Compliance:
Implement robust cloud security solutions, including identity management, data encryption, and threat detection.
Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
Troubleshooting & Support:
Resolve complex technical issues in cloud environments and provide guidance to teams during incidents.

Required Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience:
Minimum 10 years in IT, with at least 5 years in cloud architecture or related roles.
Proven expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect).
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure components (networking, storage, compute).
Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results under tight deadlines.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
