Job Summary:
Sell JAT Pharmacy’s home delivery platform, MyVetStoreOnline, to veterinary practices. Qualify each clinic through pre-call planning in collaboration with the Midwest Veterinary Supply (“MVS”) sales team. Once the tools are in place, work with the clinics to grow their business by educating and training them on the value MyVetStoreOnline offers to their practice. This is a remote position.
Essential Job Functions:
- Prospect clinics to sell MyVetStoreOnline. During clinic visits use consultative selling techniques to present the practice with the MyVetStoreOnline platform and toolset. Provide decision makers and clinic staff with live demonstrations of the solutions being offered. Represent JAT Pharmacy at industry trade shows and other strategic selling events. Host dinner meetings to educate clinics about MyVetStoreOnline. Work in conjunction with the MVS Outside Sales Representative and Inside Sales Representative, and the MyVetStoreOnline Accounts team to set and review sales goals for each practice. Communicate with each practice to review pricing strategies and marketing opportunities.
- Responsible for sales closes and timely clinic enrollment in MyVetStoreOnline programs. Document key interactions with the practice’s decision makers and clinic staff. Provide on-site setup and training of the solutions for the clinic. Make regular follow up calls to the clinic to ensure that MyVetStoreOnline is utilized properly by the practice.
- Participate in bi-weekly department conference calls to review sales targets and performance goals. Manage and submit expense account to corporate within a two-week time frame.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- Must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily
- A High School Diploma or Equivalency required
- A four year college degree is preferred

Minimum of 2 years to include the following:
- Veterinary Sales, Marketing and or Animal Health Industry experience required
- Experience with online ordering preferred
- Experience with web based commerce platforms preferred
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Ability to speak in public to small and large groups
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
- Microsoft Excel 2007
- Microsoft Word 2007
- AS/400 Client Access experience preferred
- LegaSuite Web Client experience preferred
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate diplomacy and professional sales techniques
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Ability to work with corporate office to achieve mutual goals
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
- Must have a valid driver’s license

Equipment Used:
Regularly uses typical office equipment including computer keyboard and terminal, telephone, fax and copier. Employee must have working vehicle for sales calls.
Work Environment:
Work will be performed on the road and clinic to clinic year-round and will include exposure to all seasonal elements. Travel for sales calls and sales meetings/training may require overnight stays and ability to travel by air. This is a remote position.
