Logistics Sales (3 YEARS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED)

As a Logistics Sales & Account Manager for Tailwinds Logistics, you will experience endless opportunities for growth and success with an innovative asset-based freight brokerage that focuses on teamwork and a healthy work/life balance. You will focus on building your own book of business and handling your customer's transportation needs 24/7/365.

We are looking for individuals who are experienced in the freight brokerage industry to join our team in-person in one of our offices in Port Orange, Florida or Dry Ridge, KY or remotely from anywhere in the world! We invest in our team and company while delivering top notch customer service in a competitive industry. You’ll receive hands-on training from our executive team who boast 30+ years of success in the logistics industry.

Day to Day:

  • Make calls to establish relationships with new clients and build your book of business from the ground up
  • Close the deal with new and existing customers to move their freight
  • Quote shipping rates using the most up-to-date lane data
  • Negotiate prices with shippers and carriers to maximize profit margin
  • Manage daily shipments and problem solve to ensure pickup and delivery that meets exceptional customer service standards for timeliness, quality, and efficiency

What you need:

  • Freight Brokerage Sales - 2 YEARS REQUIRED
  • Book of business
  • Exceptional work ethic
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to handle conflict
  • Sales experience
  • An unfaltering positive attitude
  • Great customer service skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
