Director of Business Development
Does Loud Noise, Going Against the Grain, Riding Motorcycles and being a little bit of a Rebel appeal to you? We are looking for a Client Development Coordinator to create and nurture long-term relationships with our clients. Those clients are power sports dealers, specifically, those that sell the Premium Brands that we service; Harley, Indian, Royal Enfield and others. You will resolve any issues that arise to ensure customers are satisfied with our services. In this role, you should be an excellent communicator who’s able to grasp customer needs and brainstorm ways to fulfill them. If you have a background in outside sales, client relations and knowledge of our industry, we’d like to meet you. Your goal will be to help us safeguard our revenue while helping sales attracting new clients and increasing revenue of both Horsepower Financial and our dealers.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with key employees among clients
- Develop Dealer Network and influence current dealers
- Create plans to address clients’ business needs
- Advise clients on creating profitable processes
- Schedule regular meetings with clients to ensure they are satisfied
- Act as point of contact for complaints and questions and escalate issues as appropriate
- Help client team up-sell or cross-sell services and products
- Ensure both the company and clients adhere to contract terms
- Study competition to find new ways to retain customers
- Achieve Sales and Revenue Targets
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. sales, operations, finance, senior management) to address customers’ needs
- Assist Sales Leader and team to set appointments and meetings

Skills Needed
- Proven experience as a Client Relations Manager, Relationship Manager or Inside Sales.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets
- Have basic industry knowledge in motorcycles and/or powersports.
- Experience tracking relevant KPIs (e.g. customer satisfaction)
- Proficient in MS Office, including word, Excel, Outlook, etc. with working knowledge of CRM platforms.
- A customer-oriented attitude
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Ability to work well with a team
