JOB SUMMARY

The ERP Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting the business user community in both the daily execution and the ongoing continuous improvements of business applications. The primary focus of this position is empowering the Accounting and Finance functional areas understanding the dependencies with manufacturing and operations. This position will act as a liaison, facilitator, and consultant to the lines of business, external partners, and technical teams. This involves leading and managing the activities and team resources to deliver technical business solutions. They will coordinate and facilitate activities within the organization to ensure successful delivery of applications and projects. The ERP Business Analyst will deliver and communicate results to other leaders, working closely with both the business and technical teams.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assists the user community and the business in the daily execution of the business applications, ensuring proper business transaction processing, response, and resolution to support requests.
  • Acts as liaison between the business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure that ERP solutions align with business objectives.
  • Monitors system functionality and data quality to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of ERP applications.
  • Coordinates with cross-functional teams to gather requirements by understanding workflow, goals, and processes.
  • Documents business requirements, functional specifications, and process maps to serve as a reference for the organization.
  • Analyzes system performance and user feedback to identify opportunities to improve processes and ERP functionality and facilitates the change management process.
  • Provides guidance and assistance in development and testing phases to ensure that expected functionality is delivered and test cases accurately validate the data and applications.
  • Manages project plans, tracks and communicates project status, completes action items, and escalates risks with business users, technology teams, and management.
  • Works with functional teams and data management to define data and reporting requirements.
  • Prepares justification documentation for management level approval.
  • Leads and participates in design reviews.
  • Manages stakeholder relationships and change management requests.
  • Trains and supports business subject matter experts, key users, and end users.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Strong analytical skills and solid understanding of business systems, business data and transactions,
  • Ability to interpret business needs and translate them into operational requirements and applications.
  • Ability to manage competing demands and balance objectives via project and time management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, capable of communicating clearly and concisely at all levels and with business and technical resources.
  • A specialist in complex business and technical matters.
  • Able to communicate and achieve goals in terms of solutions provided or project deliverables.
  • Collaborative in nature, an organized and autonomous self-starter.
  • Capable of assuming a team lead role in cross functional groups and on projects in areas of expertise.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree and/or relevant work experience in ERP business solutions is required
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics D365 for Finance and Operations
  • 5+ years of experience supporting and delivering ERP business solutions
  • Experience in Finance and Accounting solutions
  • Experience with Manufacturing organizations
  • Experience in Project Management methodologies
  • Experience in Microsoft Office 365 Suite
  • Experience in SharePoint
  • Experience with Process and Data Modeling
  • Experience in all stages of the project lifecycle, including planning, requirements gathering, designing, documenting, testing, and deployment
