Director of Sales (Food & Beverage)
Salary: $140k - $170k base + 20% bonus + $1000/month car allowance
Location/Schedule: Remote for candidates commutable to Inland Empire + local and overnight travel within the US
Requirements: 15+ years of food retail industry sales experience + experience negotiating with National Accounts + DSD sales experience
For the right candidate will be consider a VP title paying up to $200k base + 20% bonus

What You Will Be Doing
- Develop and implement training programs for sales team
- Execute sales strategy that leverages sales analytics and builds new client relationships
- Build and mentor a high-performing sales team
- Identify growth opportunities, emerging market trends, and competitive activity
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and operations teams
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and brokers
- Monitor sales metrics and pipeline and provide regular reports on sales performance to the executive team
- Traveling to trade shows, customer sites and sales events
What You Need for this Position
15+ years of sales experience in the food retail industry + experience negotiating with national accounts:
- Track record of meeting or surpassing quotas
- B.S. in Business, Marketing or related field
- Experience building out sales teams
- Exceptional communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated history of building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, distributors and industry partners
