At Vedeqsa we are looking for a North America Sales Representative that can help us develop the market in the US and Canada, both prospecting new customers and maintaining and improving customer loyalty.

Based in Spain, and with a warehouse in Independence (MO), Vedeqsa is specialized in manufacturing additives and specialties for the food and the cosmetic industries. Thanks to its continuous improvement philosophy, Vedeqsa is the promoter and developer of a new highly-effective molecule against a broad spectrum of microorganisms, the Ethyl lauroyl arginate HCI (LAE®), designed to meet the requirements in food and cosmetic industries.
Moreover, Vedeqsa uses the microencapsulation technology to optimize the functionality of preservatives and acidulants in several sectors, such as bakery, confectionery and meat.
Responsibilities
- Maintain regular communications with customers to ensure quality of deliveries is correct.
- Establish trustworthy and long-lasting relationships with all customers and distributors.
- Responsible for creating and managing the yearly sales forecast. Ensuring that the commercial actions lead to achieving the sales forecast.
- Monitor the sales cycle from the moment a PO is received until the product is delivered.
- Qualify prospects, market prospection, cold calling and regular visits to customers and potential customers.
- Create monthly progress reports for Vedeqsa HQ.
- Attend trade shows and represent Vedeqsa’s products.
- Analyze customer requirements, research and qualify opportunities for increased sales.
Requirements
- Passionate about sales.
- Residence near Kansas City (Vedeqsa Inc office location).
- Bachelor in food science, chemistry or biochemistry.
- +3 years of experience in a sales department.
- Availability to travel 70% of the time.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
