Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Field Sales Representative to join our team. As a Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by acquiring new customers and expanding business with existing accounts. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic sales environment. Day-to-day tasks include identifying potential customers, presenting product offerings, demonstrating the benefits of our AI platform, negotiating and closing deals, and providing excellent customer service
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate target markets and expand our customer base
- Conduct in-person meetings, product demonstrations, and technical presentations to showcase our machine vision offerings
- Nurture and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at prospective and existing customer accounts.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with our engineering, support, and delivery teams to provide comprehensive solutions.
- Accurately forecast sales pipeline, manage deal progression, and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements in the machine vision space.
- Provide valuable market insights and customer feedback to inform our product roadmap and marketing strategies
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues or concerns
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts to track progress and identify areas for improvement
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in outside sales or field sales, preferably in the machine vision, automation, or related industrial technology industries
- Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- In-depth technical knowledge of industrial automation, robotics, machine vision systems, components, and applications
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with technical and business stakeholders
- Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs to develop effective sales strategies
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a consultative approach to understand customer needs
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) tools and sales processes
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to visit customer sites and attend industry events
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field preferred
