Position Summary:

The Sales Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting our sales team throughout the selling process. The primary responsibility will be to provide sales support to Account Managers, Project Managers, and Sales Engineers, ensuring efficient workflow and increased overall performance. This role involves preparing and reviewing proposals, bids, and quotations accurately and verifying contract eligibility. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the Accounting and Purchasing Department to ensure timely processing of orders.


Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years in administrative, customer service, sales support, or related roles;
    • direct sales support experience preferred.
  • 3+ years' previous experience in field installation, project management, or estimating
    • AV/IT and/or low voltage field preferred.
  • Knowledge of AV, IT, and Electrical industry standards, manufacturer products, facility design principles, and applicable codes preferred.
  • Intermediate experience with structured cabling and AV/IT systems preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Office, and PDF software;
    • familiarity with Customer-relationship management software and Salesforce quoting system (CPQ) preferred.
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and listening skills.
  • Ability to interpret bid specifications and contract documents effectively.
  • Excellent multitasking, time-management, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review proposals, bids, and quotations for accuracy before submission.
  • Complete bid forms, bid packages, and other bid requirements in coordination with Account Executives, Project Managers, and AV Project Engineers.
  • Review proposals/bids for eligibility in CMAS, GSA, or PEPPM contracts.
  • Process purchase orders, contracts, or notices to proceed through Accounts Receivable and Purchasing accurately.
  • Prepare and submit product submittal and closeout packages as needed.
  • Assist in pre-qualification packages for GC’s, ECs, and public entities.
  • Attending training sessions and adhering to company standards as required.
