Customer Support Specialist Job Requirements

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Hourly Rate: $18 to $24 USD

Work Location: Hybrid, Schaumburg, IL

What we need

Mixam is looking for enthusiastic individuals that want to give a reliable, engaging and excellent support experience to our customers. Our Customer Support Specialists do more than just talk to customers, they provide solutions to their print needs and engage in every aspect of the customer’s experience.

Things you’ll be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with IT developers, as well as the fulfillment team, marketing, and sales teams to enhance customer services and brand awareness
  • Identifying customer needs and taking proactive steps to maintain positive experiences.
  • Responding to customer queries in a timely and effective manner, via phone, email, social media, or chat applications.
  • Tracking customer experiences across online and offline channels, devices, and touchpoints.
  • Assisting with minimal editing and providing feedback to customers on images and graphic content intended for printed materials to ensure excellent product outcomes
  • Aligning customer experience strategies with marketing initiatives. as well as informing customers about new product features and functionalities.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, transactions, and deescalate order complaints throughout the order process

Your Skills and Abilities

  • At least one (1) year experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work independently and with integrity
  • Communicate effectively via chat, phone, and email and have a sense of urgency
  • Manage multiple stakeholders and multiple communication channels

Nice to have but not required

  • Experience with image editing or graphic design
  • Experience working with Global Teams
