Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager - Transmission and Distribution Equipment
Location: Anywhere in the US (Remote)

We are a leading name in the Transmission and Distribution (T&D) equipment sector, specializing in the design, manufacturing, and supply of transmission towers, poles, conductors, and related hardware. With a strong presence in the T&D utilities and EPC companies across various regions, we are committed to expanding our footprint and driving growth through strategic business development initiatives.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree (BE/B.Tech/BS) or higher in Mechanical, Structural, or Electrical Engineering is required.
- Minimum age: 35 to 45 years.
Experience:
- A minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in the marketing and business development of transmission towers, poles, conductors, and related hardware.
- Proven track record in executing tower projects with LADWP and successfully executing multiple pole supply contracts with major utilities in Canada, including recent orders for pole supply with the City of Santa Clara Muni.
- At least 5 years of specific experience in the business development of Utility Poles in the United States and a minimum of 10 years of experience in business development within Power Transmission utilities in the United States.
- Established connections with T&D utilities, EPC companies, and a network of 3-4 representatives across the USA.
- Experience working with or knowledge of major pole producers such as Valmont, Sabre, Meyer, TAPP, or sales rep agency employees of these producers.
Skills:
- Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate techno-commercial matters to clients and present the strengths of the company.
- Willingness to travel extensively (at least 20 days a month) to various countries in the region to create opportunities for pole and tower supply.
- Familiarity with all standards of pole and tower design, such as ASCE, IS, IEC, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop business opportunities for the supply of transmission towers, poles, conductors, and related hardware within the T&D sector.
- Forge and maintain strong relationships with T&D utilities, EPC companies, and other relevant stakeholders in the industry.
- Travel extensively to explore new markets and strengthen existing relationships, ensuring a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Serve as the primary techno-commercial contact for clients, adeptly handling negotiations and presentations to highlight the company's capabilities and advantages.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure that proposals and projects align with client requirements and industry standards.
Preferred Industry Background:
Candidates with a strong background in the Transmission and Distribution Pole, Transmission Tower, Cable, Conductor, and Construction sectors will be given preference.
