Proposed Job Description:
Title: Business Development Manager, US / North America Partnerships - ZEE5 Global
Roles Summary/Purpose:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth for ZEE5 Global in the US / Canada market by identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships with organizations that reach the South Asian community.
Essential Function/Tasks:
Prospecting and identifying potential partners:
Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients - across corporate organizations, community organizations, and other entities that align with ZEE5's target audience and business goals.
Partnerships and Business Development:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Report to and interact with management team to indicate the status of the partnership progress.
Foster in-depth and productive relationships at all levels with the client
Experience in Affiliate/Partner Marketing will be an additional bonus.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with partners, ensuring successful implementation of agreements, and maximizing value for both parties.
Negotiating and structuring partnerships:
Leading negotiations to secure mutually beneficial partnerships that drive subscriber acquisition and engagement for ZEE5.
Market research and analysis:
Staying up to date on market trends, competitor activity, and the South Asian community landscape to inform partnership strategies.
Developing and executing marketing campaigns:
Collaborating with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that leverage partner channels and reach the South Asian audience effectively.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in Partnerships, preferably in the media and entertainment industry.
- Proven track record of identifying and closing successful partnerships. Existing connections within the South Asian community is a plus.
- Strong understanding of the US multicultural market and the South Asian community.
- Willingness to travel (40-50%)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent planning, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to drive results.
- A willingness and ability to be flexible and do what is needed across the team.
- Strong business acumen
- Strong MS Excel and MS PowerPoint Skills
- Fluency in English, Hindi (or another South Asian language) is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
