Job Description
We are looking for an Inspection/Deficiency Sales Representative to join our Inspection Division to develop new inspections, testing and maintenance business as well as maintaining our existing clientele. You will also estimate deficiency repairs following inspections made by our technicians as well as follow up on recommendations to the customer’s life safety systems. Among other things, your responsibilities will be to :
Gain new inspection, testing and maintenance business;
Meet with clients to identify their needs in terms of Life Safety Systems including but not limited to Fire Alarm, Sprinkler Systems, Emergency Lighting and Fire Extinguishers;
Prepare work estimates and follow-up on quotations;
Identify all necessary resources to complete the project;
Evaluate additional costs if necessary;
Ensure an after-sale follow-up with the customers;
Prepare all documents necessary for opening contracts.

College diploma in fire protection or high school diploma and equivalent relevant experience;
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the fire protection contracting industry;
Working knowledge of products used in fire protection and more specifically Notifier products (an asset);
Good knowledge of NFPA-25 and CAN-ULC S536;
CFAA certification (an asset);
Consultative selling skills, self-motivated and self-driven with ability to work remotely with minimal supervision;
Ability to efficiently manage time and priorities;
Customer service oriented.
