Job Description

Position:

We are looking for a Sales Representative for our Greater Vancouver, BC territory. The Sales Representative will act as the company’s face to attract new customers, maintain relationships with existing customers and to increase sales volume. The ideal candidate will be able to share information about the company and products in general while also being able to acquire new customers and increase sales volume. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets by the deadline.
  • Contact and solicit new business from all customer accounts.
  • Ensure that all customers are notified of new orders and shipments.
  • Ensure that all customers are notified of new products and availability changes.
  • Maintain current accounts while pursuing new accounts at the current location and or at other locations as directed by management.
  • Prepare and submit sales reports as required.
  • Keep current on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive pricing offers.
  • Keep up-to-date on best practices in this field and in other fields as required by management.
  • Assist in developing marketing materials and materials for other companies that require marketing materials for their products or services.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar field or related fields such as wholesale distribution, retail sales, distribution sales, distribution manager, account manager, or sales representative is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to present information using good communication skills (written & verbal) to all levels of management including upper management.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with previous experience using CRM software a plus.

Pay: $55,033.00-$62,906.00 per year
