Our team develops the technology that powers real-time audio and video communications features such as Group FaceTime, FaceTime, Phone Continuity, HomeKit IP Cameras, Wifi-Calling / VoLTE, and RTT. We support iOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS. Apple's Interactive Media Group (IMG) is looking for a proactive and hardworking engineer for overseeing the development operations of a growing team committed to delivering high quality products.

Key Qualifications
  • Highly proficient in scripting languages such as Python
  • 2+ years of experience in Continuous Integration environments and/or in building and maintaining Data Analytics automated pipelines
  • Excellent understanding of data science fundamentals.
  • Experience in mining structured and unstructured data sources
  • Deep understanding of Cloud Computing and micro-services paradigms
  • Deeply committed to following and disseminating best engineering practices such as test-driven and agile development
  • Understands the importance of a data-driven approach and therefore uses analytics to identify and proactively prevent incidents
  • Understand the steps needed to design and maintain Data Visualization tools and/or Interactive Dashboards

Description

We are looking for a strong development operations engineer to support the daily workflow enabling us to deliver high quality products. As a DevOps/DataOps engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the readiness and stability of our integration and analytics systems. You will also actively participate in the design and development of new and innovative tools and services.

Education & Experience

B.S or M.S or PhD in EE/CE/CS

Pay & Benefits
    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $116,105.60 and $208,300.00 annualized, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
