Job Description

Houston area Oil and Gas company actively seeking experienced Sales Representative to maintain and build customer relationships and sell company products and services. This position will require you to identify opportunities to expand into different sectors and customer bases. We will require you to maintain relationships and communicate effectively with customers. Sales Rep will advise on market trends to help identify product improvements or R & D projects required. Also, you will be required to participate and advise on pricing, technical proposals and budgets.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop a healthy pipeline of sales opportunities and maintain ongoing opportunity forecast.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with potential customers and promote the company's offerings.
  • Propose and pitch competitive solutions appropriate to the customer’s challenges.
  • Identify market trends, potential new customers for future tenders.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers to close sales and achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify and feedback information on tenders lost for future bids.
  • Troubleshoot customer issues and provide solutions.
  • Communicate with various teams to ensure customer products and services are met.
  • Present to customers on new products and services.
  • Critical projects should be monitored to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Manage MSA/ AVL for customer to ensure we can tender.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by manager.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of oil and gas products, services, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales analytics tools.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with customers and attend events.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings, as required by industry standards.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to meet business demands.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Skilled negotiator and strong interpersonal skills
  • Relationship builder
  • Experience in oil and gas both land and offshore
  • Experience in international sales, and tenders
  • Experience with Valves, hydraulics, electrical and software for quotation
  • Can create complicated tenders
