We are currently seeking an innovative, sales driven and relationship building manager of Business Development for the Greater Vancouver area. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with the Regional Team, in order to increase our portfolio and maximize sales to existing and prospective clients within the Vancouver area.

What Would You Be Doing?
- Execute a strategic plan to achieve growth targets.
- Develop sales strategies, plans and marketing tools.
- Develop and nurture a list of Prospects and Client relationships.
- Solicit sales with all potential Prospects and secure new Client.
- Evaluate and maximize sales with existing clients.
- Compose proposals and presentations.
- Review and close agreements for new deals.
- Distribute information on products and services sold by Indigo.
- Manage and drive the process from signed contract to implementation and work with internal and external stakeholders towards successful and timely launch.
- Help forecast and track key metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
- Prepare and communicate analysis and reporting to Clients and senior management.
- Represent Indigo at professional associations/meetings as well as attend trade shows and exhibitions.
- Initiate effective marketing activities to develop and strengthen Client relationships.
- Provide extraordinary client service including execution of promised deliverables.
- evaluation of up-sell opportunities, relationship building and entertaining.
What Are We Looking For?
- Direct sales and relationship building in a real estate environment.
- Ability to sell to a C-level audience and effectively present information and negotiate with various levels of management.
- Be a strong, influential leader to foster account relationships.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Publisher.
- Previous experience with CRMs an asset.
- Proven experience in responding to RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.
- Highly self-motivated and driven personality is essential, with an ability to work independently.
- Aptitude to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Established track record to conclude the sales process from inception to close.
- Capacity to articulate distinct aspects of products and services, and to position these in a competitive environment.
- Team player.
- Excellent knowledge of the commercial real estate industry.
- Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
