BizWest Media LLC is a comprehensive business news organization that provides coverage of various industries in the Boulder Valley and Northern Colorado regions. They offer print and online publications and newsletters and specialize in industries such as aerospace, agribusiness, banking, clean tech, energy, green business, healthcare, high technology, hospitality, real estate, and telecommunications. In addition, BizWest Media also hosts a calendar of educational and awards events to engage and inform the region’s business community.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Sales Account Executive who lives in the Boulder Valley or Northern Colorado area. The Sales Account Executive will be responsible for day-to-day activity of digital, print, and event sponsor lead generation, in-person client meetings and networking events, account management, communication, relationship building, and customer service. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving business growth for BizWest. This is a base + commission position that requires periodic travel for client meetings and events.
Qualifications
- Local to Boulder Valley and Northern Colorado area with vehicle
- Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development
- Excellent communication and relationship building abilities
- Strong sales cycle, prospecting, networking, customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely and responsibly report on activities
- Familiarity with office technology, esp Google Workspace
- Experience in the media or publishing industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
