The Mary T Family of Companies is hiring for a full-time Hospice Outreach Coordinator!
The Hospice Outreach Coordinator will lead outreach and marketing efforts for our Hospice division of care, with the goal of generating admissions and growing patient census. This customer-facing role involves sales, growth, and marketing of clinical programs and outcomes to be a top provider of care in our communities. The Outreach Coordinator will work with our Director of Hospice and our Marketing Team to expanding our client base through the development of internal and external referral channels. This position will be based out of our main campus located in Coon Rapids, MN.
Job Duties:
- Develop referral channels.
- Maintains relations with community organizations, hospitals, clinics, residential healthcare facilities (group homes, assisted living, senior living), and other referral sources to generate admissions.
- Collaborate across our different lines of business to promote our continuum of care.
- Ensure the organization has a clear and consistent brand via marketing materials, social media tools, website, online presence, and other resources.
- Understand the market for our different lines of business.
- Develop, create, evaluate, and conduct training on marketing activities, policies, and strategies.
- Be involved with all digital, advertising, and social media campaigns.
- Concentrate efforts on expanding our Hospice, Home Health and Outpatient Therapy and Wellness Center lines of service.
- Develop and maintain reports and data regarding the effectiveness of sales campaigns.
Schedule: Full-time, Daytime hours, Monday - Friday
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION:
EDUCATION:
- Associates degree preferred
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and current auto insurance that complies with state requirements
EXPERIENCE:
- Post acute (home health, hospice, ALF, SNF) or DME sales experience preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of Hospice sales experience strongly preferred
- Digital marketing experience is a plus
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- Proven sales acumen with proven results
- Digital marketing skills - ability to provide content for digital marketing
- Self-motivated with proven ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Demonstrates a clear understanding of how the referral source decides and understands who the decision makers are
- Skilled in problem solving, providing solutions to meet patient and business needs
- Demonstrates a high confidence level to interact with health care professionals at all levels
- Competitive mindset to meet and exceed business objectives
- Demonstrates adaptability, enthusiasm, and willingness to cooperate while working with others or in place of others
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Thorough understanding of principles and methods used to promote, display and sell services
- Advanced computer skills to analyze and synthesize data for others
- Deep understanding of online marketing strategies is required, including social media, search engine optimization and website development
- Ability to use computer software such as Microsoft Excel , Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, WordPress, and similar programs
